Lexus IS NOx Sensor Error

I had a similar NOx sensor issue with my IS. Did you check the connector and wiring for damage or corrosion? Sometimes cleaning and reseating fixes it.

Thanks, I checked the connector and wiring, but didn't see anything obvious. Is there a spot on the connection that usually fails? Did you have the exhaust leak too, and did fixing the sensor stop it?

The exhaust leak might be separate, but check it out. If the NOx sensor light is still on after checking the connections, take it to a shop for a diagnosis. That's what I did, and it was the sensor.

Thanks for the advice. I'll book a shop appointment for a full check and to look at the exhaust leak. Your experience helped a lot. It was the NOx sensor and the repair was 95€.
