Lexus IS Power Windows Not Working After Battery Replacement

Hi, I've got a 2008 Lexus IS with a gasoline engine. After replacing the battery, the power windows stopped working. Now, I get an error code, and I can't operate any of the windows. I suspect the window regulator needs re-initialization. Any ideas?

I had a similar problem with my IS. After replacing the battery, the window controls went haywire. Have you tried the reset procedure?

Yes, I tried resetting it myself, but it didn't work. It turns out the regulator needs to be initialized with a diagnostic tool. I would advise you to visit a workshop.

Thanks, I appreciate the advice. I ended up taking it to a shop, and they re-initialized the window regulator. Cost me 290€. Problem solved.
