I am referring to the connection at the control unit. However, considering the symptoms, I would recommend visiting a workshop for a comprehensive diagnostic assessment.

Thanks a bunch for your help! I took it to a workshop, and you were spot on – it was a defective plug connection at the control unit. Cost me 95€ to fix!

Hello. I experienced a similar issue with my old Opel Astra. The symptoms were nearly identical. In my case, the problem was due to a defective cable or plug connection at the component itself. I would suggest inspecting those connections carefully.
