Lexus LC audio system failure
Summary of the thread
A 2018 Lexus LC experienced a complete audio system failure, with no sound output despite the display appearing functional. A similar issue was resolved by identifying a defective bass speaker, which can short out and disable the entire audio system. The recommended solution is to have a professional diagnose and repair the speaker, which successfully restored the audio functionality in this case.

Interesting! How did you figure out it was the bass speaker? Was there any sound distortion or anything before it went completely silent?

No real distortion, it just cut out suddenly. My mechanic diagnosed it; apparently, when the bass speaker fails in these systems, it can short something out and kill the entire audio system. I suggest you have a professional take a look.

Thanks for the tip! I took it to a workshop, and you were spot on. The bass speaker was indeed defective and causing the problem. Repair cost me 280€, but at least I have my tunes back. Appreciate the help!

I had something similar happen on my Lexus too (not the LC, but still). Check your bass speaker, if the issue sounds similar. I lost all audio output, and it turned out to be a defective bass speaker that took the whole system down with it.
