Lexus LC Central Locking Failure

My 2020 Lexus LC hybrid's central locking system has stopped working. The doors won't lock or unlock with the remote, door handle buttons, or interior switch. Diagnostics show an error in the central locking circuit. I've checked the fuses. Has anyone had this issue and know what to check beyond the fuse box?

That's frustrating! Have you tried checking the key fob battery? Sometimes a weak battery can cause the remote locking system to fail. Also, is your car alarm going off randomly, or behaving strangely? A faulty security system module could interfere with the central locking.

Thanks! I checked the key fob battery; it's fine. The car alarm isn't acting up. Where is the security system module located in the Lexus LC?

Okay, so the key fob battery isn't the problem. Honestly, I'm not sure where the security module is in your LC - they hide those things pretty well! But with that error code, it sounds like a defective cable or plug connection, like your mechanic suggested. I think you should take it to a workshop before you cause more damage trying to find it yourself.

I consulted a technician. They confirmed a defective cable connection and fixed it for 95€.
