Lexus LC charge air temperature sensor error

The temperature gauge seems normal, no major temperature fluctuation. How was your airflow sensor behaving back then? Any difference in the sensor readings or voltage?

Readings were all over the place, couldn't get any sensible data out of it. But honestly, I'm no mechanic; took it straight to the shop once the hissing started. Do yourself a favour and save the headache. Is it worth fiddling around with a potentially faulty sensor?

Okay, thanks for the advice. Turns out it was a corroded connector on the charge air temperature sensor, just as suspected. Cleaned the connection and replaced the sensor. Total cost 95€. All good now.

Lexus LC, same thing happened to me. Whistling and hissing sounds familiar. A temperature sensor, are you sure? Those things usually last forever. What's the temperature gauge doing?
