Lexus LC Damping Adjustment Error

I'm experiencing an issue with my 2018 Lexus LC hybrid. It has 224495 km on the clock. Recently, a warning light popped up, and the ride has become noticeably bumpier. An error related to the damping adjustment was stored. I've checked the visible connections, but everything seems fine at first glance. Could a defective cable or plug connection really be the culprit? Has anyone else experienced this?

While I don't own the hybrid variant, I have a Lexus LC and recall a similar issue arising some time back, although the symptoms seem alike. It felt like the suspension wasn't adjusting properly, almost as if one corner of the car was stiffer than the others. Is it possibly a similar type of damping issue?

Interesting. So, it wasn't just a generic 'bumpy ride' for you either? Did the error codes point to anything specific, or was it more of a general suspension fault? I'm wondering if I can narrow down the location before taking it in.

Indeed, the error was initially vague, but the root cause of the matter was similar to a loose connection—think of it like a kink in a garden hose restricting water flow, but instead of water, it's electrical signals for your suspension. To avoid additional complications I suggest that you have a workshop check the cable or plug connection of the component. It solved my problem for a moderate 95€.

Thank you for sharing your experience! It's good to know that a simple connection issue could cause these symptoms. I'll take your advice and schedule an appointment with a trusted mechanic to have the connections thoroughly checked. I really appreciate your help!
