Lexus LC door lock failure
Summary of the thread
The 2017 Lexus LC experienced a door lock failure, where the doors could not be locked or unlocked manually or with the key fob. The issue was suspected to be a faulty door contact signal. After checking the fuses and finding them intact, it was suggested that the problem might be a defective connection in the main wiring harness. This was confirmed by a workshop, which resolved the issue by repairing the connection.

Thank you for your prompt response. It affects all doors simultaneously, which is why I suspect it's not an individual door sensor. I did check the fuses, and they appear to be in good order. Given that all doors are affected, could it still be a wiring harness issue?

If all the fuses are fine and it's affecting every door, then yeah, a defective cable or plug connection somewhere in the main wiring harness is a strong possibility. I'd recommend having a workshop take a look; they'll be able to diagnose it properly and fix the connection or replace the harness if needed.

I appreciate your guidance. Based on your recommendation, I took it to a local workshop. The issue was indeed a defective connection in the wiring harness, as you suggested. The repair cost was 95€. Thank you again for your assistance!

Hey, that sounds like it could be a pain! Door lock issues are no fun. Is it all the doors, or just one? Also, have you checked the fuses related to the car alarm and automatic locks? Sometimes it's something simple like that.
