Lexus LC door lock failure

I've discovered that the doors on my 2017 Lexus LC with a gasoline engine can no longer be locked or unlocked, either manually or using the key fob. After some investigation, it appears the problem might stem from a faulty door contact signal. Has anyone experienced something similar with their Lexus?

Hey, that sounds like it could be a pain! Door lock issues are no fun. Is it all the doors, or just one? Also, have you checked the fuses related to the car alarm and automatic locks? Sometimes it's something simple like that.

Thank you for your prompt response. It affects all doors simultaneously, which is why I suspect it's not an individual door sensor. I did check the fuses, and they appear to be in good order. Given that all doors are affected, could it still be a wiring harness issue?

If all the fuses are fine and it's affecting every door, then yeah, a defective cable or plug connection somewhere in the main wiring harness is a strong possibility. I'd recommend having a workshop take a look; they'll be able to diagnose it properly and fix the connection or replace the harness if needed.

I appreciate your guidance. Based on your recommendation, I took it to a local workshop. The issue was indeed a defective connection in the wiring harness, as you suggested. The repair cost was 95€. Thank you again for your assistance!
