Thanks for the quick response! I did check the fuses, and they all seem fine. The error message is pretty generic, something along the lines of 'Steering Column Adjustment Fault'. Did yours give you more specific information, and did you manage to fix it yourself?

My error message was equally vague. I tried fiddling with the connections myself, but no luck. Honestly, save yourself the headache and just take it to a workshop. They’ll diagnose it properly and avoid further damage.

You were absolutely right. Took it to the shop, and it turned out to be a defective plug connection, just like I suspected. They charged me 95€ to fix it. Thanks for the advice!

I had a similar issue with my LC. The electric steering column just stopped adjusting one day. Did you check all the relevant fuses? Also, did the error message specify anything beyond a general malfunction?
