Lexus LC Error Messages

I own a 2021 Lexus LC with a gasoline engine and 56748 km on the clock. Recently, a fault code appeared, and I'm seeing an error message on both the infotainment system and the speedometer. Could this be due to incorrect vehicle coding? I have a diagnostic scanner, is it safe to reset the codes?

I had a similar issue with my 2018 BMW 5 series. Same symptoms: error message and a stored fault code. Before you start resetting things, did the error appear after any specific event, like maintenance or software installs? With my BMW I had a faulty sensor...

The error appeared spontaneously, without any recent maintenance or software installs. Could a faulty sensor really cause such widespread errors across different systems? Is there a risk that resetting the codes with a scan tool might mask a more serious underlying problem? I am unsure about the best course of action. Is a visit to the workshop unavoidable?

With my BMW, the faulty sensor threw everything off, leading to a cascade of error messages. It's hard to say for certain, but considering your Lexus threw multiple errors across different systems, it might be more than a simple glitch. Ignoring those symptoms can lead to more issues, so a workshop visit sounds unavoidable in your case.

Appreciate the advice. I took it to the local workshop; the issue was indeed related to incorrect vehicle coding. They re-flashed the software, and the error messages disappeared. Total cost came to 360€.
