Lexus LC fuel consumption and stalling

I'm having issues with my 2017 Lexus LC with a gasoline engine. It's got about 65k km on it. Lately, my fuel consumption has gone way up, and the engine feels like it's lost a lot of power. It even stalls sometimes when I'm idling, which is super annoying. Plus, when I accelerate, there's this weird smoke coming out. I've checked for any obvious fuel leaks, but haven't found anything. Could it be the injection system? Any ideas?

I also own a Lexus LC, and your symptoms sound similar to a problem I had a while ago. It could very well be related to the injection system. Have you checked the cable and plug connections to the components? A defective connection there can cause all sorts of issues.

Thanks for the quick reply! When you say 'cable and plug connections', are there any specific ones I should be looking at first? I'm not super familiar with the fuel injection system layout. Any pointers would be great!

Unfortunately, without a diagnostic scan, it's difficult to pinpoint the exact connection. Given the symptoms, inspecting the fuel injector connections is advisable. However, without proper tools and knowledge, you might create a bigger problem. I strongly suggest taking it to a qualified workshop for diagnosis. That is what I did back then.

Thanks, that's probably the best advice. I was hoping it would be something simple, but it sounds like it's worth getting a professional to take a look. Turns out it was a defective plug connection, just like you suspected! Cost me 95€ to fix. Appreciate the help!
