Hey, thanks for chipping in. It does sound pretty similar to the issue I'm facing. Really relieved to hear it got all sorted out after the auxiliary heater replacement. By the way, do you remember roughly what you had to fork out for the fix? And have you noticed any other issues cropping up since? I'm just hoping to get a heads-up in case anything else decides to go wonky after I get this sorted. Cheers!

Hey, happy to help out! Regarding the bill, I had to part ways with about 350 Euro to sort the electric auxiliary heater issue. It was a bit of a pinch on the pocket, won't lie, but it did fix the problem right away- heater's been running like a dream ever since! Since then, I'm relieved to say everything's been cool - literally! No other issues have shown their ugly heads yet. Fingers crossed, it stays this way. With cars, you never know, eh? Anyway, good luck with your mechanic and fingers crossed for no more surprise problems!

Thanks a lot for the insight! I was bracing myself for a hefty bill, so it's good to have a heads-up. Your experience has definitely given me more confidence about getting it sorted. I'll take your advice and head straight to a Lexus service center for proper diagnosis and solution. Can't thank you enough for your help. Let's hope any other gremlins stay well away from both our vehicles. Safe driving!

Hey! I had a somewhat similar situation with my 2014 Lexus GS hybrid. I noticed the heater wasn’t warming up as it should. Turned out, it was indeed the electric auxiliary heater giving me trouble. The mechanic checked the coolant level first, which was fine, so they went ahead to look into the heater. Turns out, my heater's control valve was cracked and the solenoid was shot. Had no other choice but to get the auxiliary heater replaced. Mind you, it's not really a minor issue as it does impact the comfort and drivability during extreme weather conditions, but once replaced it performed like new. I'd recommend getting it properly diagnosed by a trusty mechanic or better yet at a Lexus service center. Not every shop can handle these climate control system issues. Better safe than sorry. Good luck, hope it's not something too serious!
