Consistent, yes. Honestly, I'd just have it checked professionally. Could be a pain to troubleshoot on your own without proper tools. Turned out to be a short. It's worth the money if you ask me.

Appreciate the input. It was indeed a chafed wire harness causing the communication error. New harness and some electrical tape later, all good. 95€ repair. Thanks!
