Lexus LC hybrid engine stalls rough running
Summary of the thread
A 2019 Lexus LC hybrid was experiencing issues with the check engine light, rough engine running, stalling, and jerking during acceleration. The initial suspicion was a problem with the fuel system. A suggestion was made to check the fuel pressure sensor, specifically the cable or plug connection. After taking the car to a mechanic, it was confirmed that the fuel pressure sensor cable was faulty, and fixing it resolved the issues.

Fuel pressure sensor, huh? Where exactly is that located, and is it something I can easily check myself, or am I better off taking it to a mechanic?

Finding it yourself might be a bit tricky without the right tools and knowledge. However, if you're experiencing those symptoms, and considering what I went through, it's highly probable that's the culprit. My suggestion? Get it to a reputable workshop and have them diagnose the fuel pressure sensor connection. Save yourself the headache.

Thanks for the tip! Took it to the shop, and you were spot on – fuel pressure sensor cable was faulty. 95€ later, and it's running like a dream again. Appreciate the help!

Interesting. I had similar symptoms with my LC. Check engine light, engine stalling… sound familiar? Did you check the fuel pressure sensor? It could be a defective cable or plug connection.
