Lexus LC Overheating Issue

My 2020 Lexus LC hybrid is overheating with 211747 km. I suspect the electric fan; the likely cause being a defective cable or plug connection. Has anyone experienced a similar issue?

I had a similar overheating issue with my LC. The symptoms sound very familiar. Before you dive too deep, have you checked the fan motor itself? It's like a fuse box for your cooling system – a small failure can cause big problems. What troubleshooting steps have you already taken?

I've visually inspected the wiring and connections, but I haven't done any electrical testing. The fan isn't running at all. Were your symptoms identical, and was it indeed a wiring issue?

My symptoms were indeed the same – overheating, fan not running. While I initially suspected the fan clutch, it turned out to be a faulty connection, just as you predicted. Given your expertise, your diagnosis is likely spot-on. I ended up taking it to a workshop to get it sorted. Cost me 95€.

Thanks for the confirmation. A defective cable or plug connection was the problem. The workshop charged me 95€ too. I appreciate your help.
