Lexus LC Running Lean
Summary of the thread
A 2018 Lexus LC hybrid was experiencing symptoms of running lean, including reduced engine power, rough idling, and jerking during acceleration. The issue was suspected to be related to fuel delivery, possibly due to a faulty injector. After checking for vacuum leaks and considering other components like the EGR valve and MAF sensor, the problem was identified as a defective injection valve, which was replaced to resolve the issue.

Interesting. I was leaning towards fuel delivery. What was the fix for your issue? And how did you narrow it down to the EGR or MAF? Was the air-fuel ratio way off?

Truthfully, I'm not mechanically minded enough to work it out myself. I took it straight to a trusted mechanic, who diagnosed the problem immediately. You should get yours checked out too.

Appreciate the info! It ended up being a defective injection valve. Cost me 515€ to get it sorted. Runs like new now!

I had a similar issue with my LC. Same symptoms, like the car was constantly fighting to get enough fuel. Have you looked at the EGR valve or considered the MAF sensor?
