Lexus LC Undervoltage Problems

I have a 2017 Lexus LC hybrid. At 234427 km, it's been a dream, but lately, an undervoltage issue has appeared! It is reluctant to start, has intermittent system failures, weak, flickering lights, and a battery that seems perpetually on the verge of exhaustion. Could a heavily discharged or defective battery be the culprit? Has anyone else experienced these electrical issues?

I had a similar issue with my LC. Start poorly, failure of various systems, weak lights... sounds familiar. Did you check the battery terminals for corrosion or loose connections? Also, has the alternator output been tested?

Battery terminals are pristine, and all connections are snug. As for the alternator output, that's a test I've yet to undertake. Could a failing alternator truly manifest in such a range of electrical problems?

Yes, it's quite possible. In my case, the alternator was fine, but the battery itself was the problem. Given the symptoms and mileage, I'd strongly suggest having a workshop thoroughly assess the battery's health and overall electrical system. It's better to catch it early before it leaves you stranded.

The battery was the issue. A new battery at 290€ and all is well. The undervoltage issue has been resolved!
