Lexus LFA Airbag Warning Light

Hi. I've got a 2010 Lexus LFA, gasoline engine, and the airbag warning lamp is constantly lit up in the speedometer. I've checked the fuses, and they seem fine. The car has 236360 km on it. I suspect it might be a defective cable or plug connection. Any ideas?

Had the same thing happen on my old Volvo, different lights though. Did the light just suddenly appear, or did anything happen before it came on, like a bump or hard braking?

It just appeared one day, no accidents or anything. Could a bad crash sensor cause this?

Yeah, the crash sensor could definitely be the culprit. In my case with the Volvo, it was the sensor. I'd recommend taking it to a workshop to get it properly diagnosed.

Thanks for the advice. Took it to the workshop and it was indeed a defective cable. Repair cost me 95€. All good now!
