Lexus LFA engine stalling

I'm having a strange issue with my 2011 Lexus LFA. It's got a gasoline engine and about 172,000 km on the clock. Recently, the check engine light has been popping on, and the engine occasionally stalls when I'm idling. I've checked the usual suspects like the gas cap, but no luck. Could this be a fuel issue?

With the Z8, the process involved a diagnostic scan which revealed error codes related to the evaporative emission control system. Further investigation pointed to a defective activated charcoal filter. It's responsible for capturing fuel vapors, and when it fails, it can lead to leaks and disrupt the air/fuel ratio. Given the age of your LFA, I would strongly recommend getting the system professionally inspected. Ignoring it can lead to more severe emission control problems.

Thanks a lot for the advice! I took the LFA to my local shop, and you were spot on. Turns out the activated charcoal filter was indeed defective. They replaced it, and the check engine light is gone, and the stalling issue has disappeared. The total cost was 275€ I really appreciate your help!
