Thanks for the advice. What exactly was the problem with your car in the end? Was it ECU failure or engine software?

Well, it wasn't actually the ECU itself. The workshop diagnosed it as poor battery cable connections. They cleaned and tightened the connections, and everything went back to normal. Cost me about 155€. I would suggest visiting a workshop.

Hey, I had a similar issue with my LFA. The engine light came on, and it felt like the engine was surging before it finally died. How's your battery? Maybe check the voltage to be sure it's putting out enough juice. A weak battery can cause all sorts of weird electrical issues that might be messing with your ECU.
