Thanks, I checked the fuses and they're good. I also tried disconnecting the battery to reset, but no luck. What was the root cause of your Saab 9-3 issue? Was it electrical connectors or the wiring?

In my case with the Saab, it was a corroded connector in the wiring behind the dash. A real pain to get to. Since you checked fuses and tried a reset, and your diagnostics point to wiring, a workshop might be best. They'll have the tools to diagnose electrical faults.

I appreciate you sharing your experience. I'm taking it to a trusted Lexus service center. The preliminary diagnosis matches the suspected cause – a defective electrical connector – and the estimated repair cost is about 95€. Thanks again for your time and advice.

Interesting problem. I had something similar with my old Saab 9-3. The climate control would just randomly die. Did you check the climate control fuses? It might be a simple blown fuse.
