Lexus LS Height Control Restricted Warning
Summary of the thread
A 2010 Lexus LS is experiencing a 'Height control restricted' warning, with the front sitting lower than the rear, leading to a rough ride. The issue is likely related to a defective leveling sensor or control rod. The recommended solution is to have the vehicle inspected by a professional, as the problem was resolved by replacing a faulty control rod on the height sensor.

Yeah, the ride is harsh, and the front definitely seems lower. Leveling sensor, huh? Is there a way to check that, or am I better off just taking it in?

Honestly, without the right tools, it's tough to diagnose for sure. I ended up taking mine to a shop; they found a defective control rod on one of the sensors. Given the symptoms, it does sound like the same thing. Best to get it checked properly!

Appreciate the advice! I'll get it to the shop then. It was exactly as you said – a busted control rod on the height sensor. Cost me about 110€ to fix. Thanks again!

Sounds familiar! I had a similar issue with my LS a while back. Was the ride super bumpy, almost like the suspension wasn't working properly? Did you notice it being worse on one side than the other? It could be a leveling sensor issue.
