Lexus LS hybrid engine stalling after fuel filter change
Summary of the thread
A 2014 Lexus LS hybrid experienced engine stalling and reduced power after a fuel filter change, with the check engine light illuminating. The issue was traced to a defective fuel pressure regulator, as indicated by a fuel rail pressure error code. Replacing the faulty regulator resolved the problem, restoring the vehicle's performance.

Yes, I checked the error codes. It indicates a problem with the fuel rail pressure. Is that what you experienced with your Astra as well? And how did you fix it?

Yep, fuel rail pressure error was the culprit. Turns out, changing the fuel filter sometimes messes with the regulator. I'd suggest getting it checked at a workshop, probably just a faulty fuel regulator.

Thanks for the tip! I took it to the shop, and you were spot on. The fuel pressure regulator was defective. They replaced it for 45€, and now it runs perfectly. Seems like the error entry was indeed the cause after the filter change.

Sounds familiar. I had a similar problem with my old Opel Astra after changing the fuel filter. Engine misfire, check engine light, the whole shebang. Did you happen to check for any error codes?
