Lexus LS Injection System Fault

Hi, I have a 2013 Lexus LS with a gasoline engine. I've noticed higher fuel consumption, reduced engine power, and the engine stalls at idle. Plus, there's smoke when accelerating. The car has 53134 km on it. I suspect the injection system is faulty. Any ideas?

I had a similar issue with my LS. Sounds like it could be a dodgy cable or plug connection in the injection system. Have you checked for any obvious signs of wear or damage to the wiring?

Thanks for the tip. Where exactly should I be looking for these cable and plug connections?

Okay, so the connections I'm referring to are related to the fuel injectors themselves. Honestly, unless you're comfortable with intricate engine work, I'd recommend taking it to a workshop. A faulty injection system can cause major problems down the line.

Thanks, I appreciate the advice. I took it to a shop and it turned out to be a defective cable connection as you suspected. Cost me 95€ to fix.
