Lexus LS Keyless Entry Problem

Hi. I've got a 2016 Lexus LS with a gasoline engine. Recently, the keyless access stopped working on the driver's door. I scanned for errors and found one related to the door handle electronics. It’s only done 36004 km. Has anyone else experienced this? It seems like it could be a cable or plug issue in the door, but I am not sure.

I had something similar happen on my LS! Keyless entry on the driver's side went kaput. Did you check the door actuator? That was my first thought. It could also be some sort of sensor issue.

Thanks for the tip! I will have a look. When it happened to you, did the error code point specifically to the door actuator, or something more general, like the door handle itself? And what did you do in the end?

The error was a bit vague, something about the door handle circuit. Honestly, I just took it to a workshop. They diagnosed a faulty connection, fiddled with the wiring, and all was good again. Saved me a headache trying to trace it myself!

Appreciate the input. Took it to the shop as you suggested, and they confirmed a bad plug connection. Cost me 95€ to fix. All working perfectly again. Thanks!
