Lexus LS Power Window Failure
Summary of the thread
A 2019 Lexus LS hybrid experienced a sudden failure of the power windows, with no response from any switches. An error code indicated a problem with the window regulator. While a defective power window switch was considered, the issue was more likely related to the regulator motor. It was advised to seek professional assistance due to the complexity of the repair. Ultimately, a faulty window regulator was identified and replaced at a workshop.

Thanks for the quick response! No, I haven't checked the regulator motor directly. Is that a difficult job? I'm not very experienced with car repairs, but I'm happy to get my hands dirty.

Given the error and your lack of experience, I'd advise against diving into the regulator motor itself. It's more complex than just swapping a switch. The error clearly states that your power windows can no longer be operated. The symptoms indicate a potential malfunction of the window mechanism. Based on the error code and symptoms, I suggest taking it to a trusted workshop. They'll be able to diagnose it properly.

Thanks for the advice. I took it to a shop, and it turned out to be a faulty window regulator. The bill came to around 200€. Appreciate the help!

I had a similar issue with my LS (don't recall the year exactly). Window control problems can be tricky. Have you checked the regulator motor itself? The error indicates an electrical fault, which might mean there is an issue with the motor.
