Lexus LS Solar Sensor Fault

Anyone else wrestling with a solar sensor fault on their 2019 Lexus LS gasoline model? I've got 91k km on the clock and the heating's pathetic. Suspect a dodgy cable or connector, but where do I even start? It's freezing!

Summary of the thread

A 2019 Lexus LS owner experienced a solar sensor fault, leading to inadequate heating. Suspecting a faulty cable or connector, they sought advice. Another owner with a similar issue suggested professional inspection, which revealed the problem was indeed with the solar sensor wiring. Repairing the wiring resolved the heating issue.

I had something similar with my LS. The heating was all over the place, and error memory was lit up. Was it throwing any specific codes?

Good to know I'm not alone! No specific codes that jump out, just a generic solar sensor fault. Did you manage to fix it yourself, or did you end up taking it in?

Nah, I'm no mechanic! I took it to the shop. They confirmed it was the solar sensor wiring. Best to get it checked properly, could save you a bigger headache down the line.

Cheers for the advice! Bit the bullet and took it to the workshop. You were spot on, solar sensor wiring was the culprit. 95€ later and I'm finally warm again!
