Lexus LS Tire Pressure ABS and Steering Issues

I have a perplexing issue with my 2013 Lexus LS hybrid. The tire pressure low warning illuminates intermittently, accompanied by the ABS lamp, a vibrating steering wheel, and increased steering effort, suggestive of power steering failure. I've checked the tire pressures and found no obvious punctures. What could be the cause?

Interesting. I also drive an LS, though a slightly different year. I experienced similar symptoms a while back, including the tire pressure warning light and the vibrating steering wheel. I initially suspected a flat tire or faulty TPMS sensor, but the correlation with the ABS and power steering seemed odd. I am not sure what might be happening here.

Did you notice any increased steering effort alongside the vibrating wheel and tire pressure alert? Was the ABS lamp also illuminated in your case? Any details regarding the circumstances under which your issues manifested would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, the increased steering effort was definitely present, almost like the power steering was cutting in and out. The ABS light was on intermittently, mirroring your description precisely. It turned out to be a defective valve within one of the tires, causing subtle pressure fluctuations that confused the system. I would recommend taking it to a trusted workshop; they should be able to diagnose it accurately.

Your insights have proven invaluable. I shall promptly schedule an appointment with a reputable workshop for a thorough inspection, specifically requesting they scrutinize the tire valves. Your experience lends credence to that being the source of the issue. The repair set me back approximately 280€, but at least it resolved the problem. Thank you for your assistance.
