Lexus LX Audio Failure
Summary of the thread
A 2023 Lexus LX diesel is experiencing complete audio failure, with the head unit powering on but producing no sound. Fuses have been checked and are fine, and an error code is present but unspecified. A similar issue was resolved by replacing a defective display unit, suggesting this may be the cause. A visit to a workshop is recommended for further diagnosis and repair.

Good shout on checking all the sources. I did try Bluetooth, and that's a no-go as well. USB the same, no sound. As for static, I can't say I've heard any static whatsoever. It's just complete silence. When yours went, was it completely silent as well?

Dead silence, just like you're describing. No pops, no crackles, absolutely nothing. I messed around with it for a while, checking connections and whatnot, but honestly, it ended up being a defective display unit. Cost a pretty penny to get sorted, I'm afraid. If it's throwing an error code too, I'd seriously consider a trip to a reputable workshop.

Appreciate you sharing your experience. I was hoping it wasn't the display, but it's looking more and more likely. The error code and complete silence are definitely pointing that way. The workshop quoted me 725€ for the repair, identifying the display as the culprit. Thanks again for confirming my suspicions!

Yep, had a similar audio gremlin with my LX. No sound at all, and it happened suddenly. Have you noticed any static noise at all, even faint, when you crank up the volume? Also, have you tried all the audio sources (Bluetooth, USB, etc.) to see if any of them work?
