Lexus LX climate control panel issue
Summary of the thread
A 2022 Lexus LX diesel experienced a dead climate control panel at 202,000 km, resulting in poor heat output and a non-functional AC. The issue was suspected to be a bad connection, possibly involving the temperature sensor. Upon professional inspection, the problem was identified as a loose plug on the control panel, which was fixed, restoring the AC functionality.

Good idea! Where is the temp sensor usually located? The display is totally blank. Do you think it's worth investigating myself, or should I take it to a shop?

A blank display suggests the panel is disconnected or broken. Without diagnostic tools, you're probably better off taking it to a shop. It might save you some trouble.

I took it in, and you were right – a loose plug on the control panel. 95€ later, and the AC is working again. Thanks for the help!

That sounds annoying! Did you check the temperature sensor? They can cause HVAC problems. Is the display completely blank or just showing gibberish?
