I haven't checked the filter physically, just going by the diagnostics. Can you remember what the 'something else' was in your case, and if the error codes were similar? Was it definitely related to the fuel system?

Yeah, mine was definitely fuel-related. It ended up being the fuel filter heater connection, just like you suspect. Honestly, I'd take it to a workshop, they'll diagnose it quickly. It could be a corroded connector or a broken wire, but chasing electrical gremlins is never fun. Best to let the pros handle it, in my opinion.

Thanks for the confirmation. I appreciate the insight; sounds like I'm on the right track. I'll take it to the workshop. Seems the cable/plug was indeed defective. Repair cost was 95€ All symptoms disappeared.

Hey, I have a Lexus LX too, though I'm not sure of the exact year. I had similar symptoms not too long ago – the sluggishness was really noticeable. Did you check the fuel filter itself? That was my first thought, but in the end, it was something else. What kind of error code are you seeing?
