Lexus LX diesel fuel filter heater issue

I'm experiencing a recurring issue with my 2010 Lexus LX diesel. Mileage is at 74844 km. I'm getting an error stored in the error memory, accompanied by reduced engine power, poor engine response, higher fuel consumption and uneven idling. After some investigation, it seems the fuel filter heater is the culprit, likely a defective cable or plug connection. Has anyone else encountered this?
