Lexus LX Diesel Turbo Issue

I have a 2014 Lexus LX diesel with 67800 km. The check engine light is on and engine power is reduced. Engine response is poor, and I hear whistling and loud hissing when accelerating. Sometimes the engine stalls at idle and fuel consumption is higher. Suspect it's a boost pressure actuator fault. Anyone experienced this?

I also drive an LX (though not the same year). Your symptoms match what I encountered a while back. It was the turbo system. Check the actuator valve.

Yes, it was a defective electrical bypass valve causing a boost leak. I recommend getting it checked at a workshop; my repair cost around 250€.
