Lexus LX Navigation Error

I'm stumped. My 2003 Lexus LX with a gasoline engine has navigation issues! I get an error, and the GPS reception is gone. I've checked the connections, but nothing seems loose. Could it be the GPS antenna?

Sounds like the antenna to me. Is the error message specific, or just a general GPS error? Have you tried resetting the navigation system? Sometimes that clears up glitches.

It's a generic GPS malfunction error. I tried resetting it a couple of times by disconnecting the battery, but no luck. Is there any way to test the antenna before I just replace it?
