Lexus LX tire pressure warning

I've encountered a problem with my 2018 Lexus LX diesel. The tire pressure monitoring system seems to be malfunctioning. I receive a 'Tire pressure too low' warning on the speedometer display, despite the tires being properly inflated. An error is also stored in the error memory. Could this be a sensor fault?

Sounds like it could be a faulty tire pressure sensor. Have you checked all the tires, including the spare, to make sure they're at the correct pressure? Sometimes a small difference can trigger the warning. If the pressure is good, it's likely a sensor issue. Considering the mileage, it might just be the sensor batteries dying. They usually only last 5-7 years.

Thank you for your quick answer. I have checked all tires and the pressure is correct. Is there a way to check which sensor is faulty or is it better to just replace all of them?

You could try to figure out which sensor is faulty using a diagnostic tool, but honestly, at that mileage, and if one is going, the others aren't far behind. Given the labor involved, it might be more cost-effective to replace all four at once to avoid future issues. I'd recommend taking it to a workshop to get it sorted out properly.

I appreciate your help. I visited a workshop and they confirmed that the sensor battery was indeed empty. I had all four sensors replaced for 280€. Thank you again for your support.
