Lexus NX Anti-Theft Alarm Malfunction

Guys, I'm at my wit's end! My 2022 Lexus NX with a gasoline engine is giving me absolute grief. The anti-theft alarm is malfunctioning like crazy. I'm getting an error stored in the error memory, and the alarm system is completely useless. Anyone seen anything like this before? It's done 127848 km. Any ideas before I lose my mind?

The alarm doesn't go off randomly, it just doesn't work at all. I thought it was the security alarm, so I disarmed and rearmed it. Still nothing. I'm thinking it may have something to do with the immobilizer. I don't think we've had a power failure, but I can't be 100% sure. What happened with your Megane?

Ah, okay. With the Megane, the issue was some weird coding thing related to the optical locking – basically, the indicators. The workshop told me the alarm system was coded to activate them, and that was causing the problem. Best to get it checked by a pro.
