Thanks for the suggestion. Where exactly is that switch located? And is it something easily replaced? I'm not mechanically inclined, but I'm willing to give it a shot before taking it in.

It's usually located near the top of the brake pedal arm, under the dash. Replacing it can be straightforward, but without the right tools and know-how, you could mess something up. Given the error messages and safety implications with the brake system, I'd recommend getting it checked out by a professional.

Thanks for the advice. I took it to a mechanic and it turns out it was a faulty brake light switch, likely due to user error, but they replaced it and didn't even charge anything! All warning lights are now off.

I had similar issues with my NX (although not a hybrid). It sounds like the brake light switch might be faulty. Have you checked the brake pedal switch itself? It's a common culprit for brake light failures and can throw error codes.
