Lexus NX error code after software installation

That's interesting! The dealership did a software installation during my last service visit a few weeks ago. Could incorrect coding really cause these persistent error messages, even after clearing the codes? What went wrong with your Volvo?

Yes, incorrect coding can cause those issues. With my Volvo, the module configuration was corrupted during the installation, leading to communication errors and the error messages you described. I advise taking your Lexus to a workshop with diagnostic tools to check and correct the vehicle's coding.

Thank you so much for the insight! It seems like the software installation is the most probable cause, as you suggested. I will take it to a workshop as soon as possible and have the vehicle's coding checked. Turns out the coding of the vehicle was incorrect, which was corrected for 360€. Thanks again for the help!

I had a similar issue with my 2018 Volvo V60. Different car, but the symptoms sound familiar. My problem was incorrect vehicle coding after a software installation. The error messages were persistent despite resetting. Has your Lexus had any recent software installations or modifications?
