Lexus NX NOx Sensor Failure

I'm having trouble with my 2018 Lexus NX (gasoline engine). The check engine light is on, and it's showing a NOx sensor failure code. There's also a noticeable exhaust leak. I've checked the sensor's cable and plug, but I don't see any damage. Could it be something like the air-fuel ratio or the catalytic converter causing a false NOx sensor reading?

NOx sensor failure, eh? Seems plausible enough. How many kilometers on the car?

Sorry, should have mentioned that. It's at 209679 km. Does that mileage sound right for a possible NOx sensor issue?

High mileage. The error code pretty much confirms it. Best get it checked at a workshop.

Just wanted to let you know that a defective cable connection was the problem. Repair cost 95€. Thanks for the help.
