Lexus NX Tire Pressure Sensor Fault
Summary of the thread
A 2021 Lexus NX owner experienced a persistent 'Tire pressure too low' warning and error message, suggesting a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) issue. The problem was likely due to a faulty sensor, possibly caused by a depleted sensor battery given the car's age and mileage. The solution involved checking and replacing the sensor at a workshop, which resolved the issue.

I'm unsure of the sensor age, they're original. The low tire pressure light is constantly on, not intermittent. Does this confirm a faulty sensor?

Yes, a constantly illuminated light strengthens the likelihood of a faulty sensor. Given the car's age and mileage, the sensor battery is likely depleted. Have the sensors checked and replaced at a workshop. Repair cost should be around 280€.

I took the car to a local workshop. You were right, the tire pressure sensor battery was empty and the sensor was faulty. Replacing it fixed it. The total cost was 280€. Thanks!

That sounds like a potential sensor fault. The low tire pressure warning, error message, and stored error code point to a TPMS issue. How old are the sensors? Has the low tire pressure light been on constantly, or does it appear intermittently?
