Lexus RC Audio System Failure

Odd issue with my 2022 Lexus RC hybrid. The audio system is completely dead. No sound, no display function. Diagnostics show an error stored in memory, pointing towards the display itself. Mileage is at 210597 km. Has anyone else experienced similar problems with the head unit?

I had a similar issue in my RC. Though the symptoms weren't identical – my speakers were crackling and cutting out intermittently. Have you checked the fuses related to the audio system? Could also be a Bluetooth problem.

Thanks for the input. I did check the fuses; they seem fine. The Bluetooth connection seems stable, but since the whole unit is dead I cannot test. Did your issue completely shut down the system, or was it just the audio?

Mine was just the audio cutting in and out, never a complete shutdown. Given that your whole display is gone, and the error code points to it, it might be the display itself, or maybe some faulty wiring. Sounds like a trip to the workshop is in order.

Appreciate the confirmation. I suspected as much. The repair cost estimate is 725€ for a display replacement, which seems reasonable. Will get it sorted. Thanks again!
