Lexus RC Engine Mixture Error
Summary of the thread
A 2017 Lexus RC is experiencing reduced engine power, a check engine light, rough running, jerking during acceleration, and occasional stalling at idle, indicating a possible engine mixture preparation error. The issue is suspected to be caused by a faulty fuel injector. The suggested solution is to have the injectors checked, which led to the identification and replacement of a defective injector, resolving the problem.

Thanks! What symptoms did you have? Did you try any diagnostics before checking the fuel injectors?

Sure thing! Mine was mainly the rough idle and the check engine light. The workshop identified it straight away. My advice? Don't waste time and get the injectors checked. I bet that's it!

I took it to a workshop, and their diagnostics showed one of the injectors was defective, like you said. The repair cost 515€. Thanks for the help!

Whoa, sounds rough! I had a similar issue with my RC (although, thankfully, not all those symptoms at once). Check your injectors. From what you're describing, a faulty injector is likely your culprit.
