Lexus RC Oxygen Sensor Issue

I don't have the equipment to measure the sensor's response time. Is there a reliable way to confirm the O2 sensor issue without specialized tools?

Without diagnostic tools, pinpointing the exact cause becomes challenging. The symptoms strongly suggest the O2 sensor. However, to avoid unnecessary parts replacement, visiting a workshop with appropriate diagnostic equipment is advisable. They can perform thorough testing. This could save money in the long run.

Thanks for the advice. I took it to a workshop, and it was indeed the oxygen sensor and its connection. The repair cost me 95€. Now the car works just fine.

Given the symptoms and error code, the oxygen sensor is a strong suspect. A defective cable or plug could certainly be the culprit, leading to incorrect readings and impacting the air-fuel ratio. The increased fuel consumption aligns with this. Is the sensor's response time slow when the engine is running?
