Summary of the thread
A 2020 Lexus RC hybrid owner experienced a radar sensor issue, leading to safety system failures and warning lights. Despite cleaning the sensor area, the problem persisted. After visiting a workshop, the sensor was found to be dirty, and following cleaning and recalibration, the system functioned correctly again.

Radar calibration? I am not familiar with that. Is that something I can do myself, or does it require special equipment? Is it likely the sensor is completely broken?

Radar calibration needs special equipment. The sensor might be dirty, but it is more likely the sensor needs to be calibrated. I recommend you visit a workshop.

Took my Lexus to a workshop as suggested. The radar sensor was indeed just dirty! They cleaned it and recalibrated the system, and everything is working perfectly now. The repair cost was only 45€.

I understand your frustration. I have seen similar problems. Did you try a radar calibration?
