Lexus RC rough start and stalling

I'm having some issues with my 2015 Lexus RC with a gasoline engine. It's got about 133917 km on it. Lately, it's been starting rough, and my fuel consumption seems higher than usual. Power is down, the idle is uneven, and sometimes it even stalls when I'm stopped. Could this be a clogged injector? Anyone experienced anything similar?

I had very similar symptoms with my RC. Have you considered dirty injection valves? When was the last time you had your fuel system serviced?

Dirty injection valves, huh? I hadn't really thought of that. I'm not really a car expert, so you'll have to forgive me when I admit that the fuel system maintenance is not up to date...Is that difficult to check?

Checking the valves yourself might not be straightforward without the right tools and knowledge. Given your symptoms and the mileage, I recommend consulting a trusted workshop. They should be able to diagnose the issue properly. Ignoring this could lead to more severe engine problems.

Thanks for the advice! I took it to a shop, and you were spot on. Turns out the injection nozzles were defective due to being dirty. The repair set me back 515€, but now it runs like a champ!
