Lexus RC System Readiness Check
Summary of the thread
A 2016 Lexus RC displayed a system readiness check incomplete error after an OBD2 scanner was used. This issue can occur when the vehicle's onboard diagnostics system hasn't completed its self-checks, often needed for vehicle inspections. A suggested solution was to perform a drive cycle, allowing the system to reset and complete its checks. This approach resolved the issue without any repairs, enabling the vehicle to pass inspection successfully.

Yeah, exactly! Inspection is coming up. So, what did you do to fix it? Did you have to replace any sensors, or was it something else?

Nah, I didn't replace anything. From what I remember, I didn't fix anything, it fixed itself. I would take it to a workshop.

Lexus RC situation: took your advice and just chilled. Seems like running a drive cycle did the trick. The system readiness sorted itself out, and the error's gone. Inspection passed with flying colors! Zero cost, can you believe it? Thanks for the help!

I've got an RC too, and I had something similar happen after getting my car scanned. Are you trying to pass a vehicle inspection? The OBD readiness might not be set.
