Lexus RC System Readiness Check

Alright, gearheads, I've got a head-scratcher. My 2016 Lexus RC with a gasoline engine is throwing me for a loop. I'm getting an error message in the speedometer, and when I hooked it up to a reader, it shows a system readiness check incomplete. It happened right after a friend used an OBD2 scanner to check something unrelated. Anyone seen this before? Odometer's at 162353 km.

I've got an RC too, and I had something similar happen after getting my car scanned. Are you trying to pass a vehicle inspection? The OBD readiness might not be set.

Yeah, exactly! Inspection is coming up. So, what did you do to fix it? Did you have to replace any sensors, or was it something else?

Nah, I didn't replace anything. From what I remember, I didn't fix anything, it fixed itself. I would take it to a workshop.
