Lexus RX Oil Sensor Fault

Got a weird one with my 2010 Lexus RX gasoline. Oil level sensor seems faulty - error message, warning light, the works. Oil pressure lamp's even lit up. Error memory's full. Anyone seen this before?

Sounds like a bad sensor or wiring. Have you checked the oil level manually with the dipstick to rule out an actual oil pressure issue? Also, have you tried checking the sensor connector for corrosion or damage?

Yeah, oil level's fine on the dipstick. I suspected the sensor. Where exactly is that connector located? Is it easy to get to?

The connector is usually near the oil pan. Access can be a pain depending on your setup. Since you've got the oil pressure light on, and you're getting sensor errors, it's likely the wiring harness, or less likely the sensor itself. If you are unsure, I'd get it checked out. You don't want to run it without oil pressure!

Appreciate the insight. Turns out it was a dodgy connection as you suspected. 95€ later and it's sorted.
