Lexus SC GPS antenna problem
Summary of the thread
A 2003 Lexus SC is experiencing GPS reception issues, with an error indicating a GPS antenna problem. The likely cause is a faulty GPS antenna, possibly due to age. It is suggested to check the antenna connection to the GPS module, but ultimately, taking the car to a workshop for diagnosis and potential antenna replacement is recommended.

I haven't checked the antenna connection yet, because I'm not sure where the GPS module is. Can you tell me where it is?

Yeah, it's worth checking the connection, but it sounds like the antenna itself. Given the age, it wouldn't surprise me. I'd get it checked out by a workshop. Might save you some trouble.

Thanks. Based on your experience and the error, I'll take it to a workshop for a diagnosis and antenna replacement. The estimated cost is around 200€. Thanks!

Sounds familiar. I had a similar issue with my SC. No GPS signal at all, right? Have you checked the antenna connection to the GPS module? Where is the GPS module located in your car?
