You're right; I was quick to focus on the radio aspect. So, keyless entry issues sound about right. The bumper antenna is suspect, that is correct, so not the car radio necessarily. Can you elaborate a bit more on what you found with your SC?

Right, of course! Well, honestly, after checking fuses and connections myself (and failing miserably, I might add!), I took it to a workshop. They diagnosed a faulty connection to the antenna amplifier. They replaced the connection, and it solved all the issues you described: keyless entry, starting problems. Maybe you should bring yours in as well if you are not that experienced with fault tracing?

Appreciate the insight. It does sound like a professional diagnosis is the best course. The projected repair cost of 95€ seems reasonable for the connection replacement. I'll book it in. Thanks for confirming my suspicions; I was hoping it wasn't something more complex.

Wow, that sounds incredibly frustrating! I have an SC as well. I had very similar symptoms a while back, although I can't recall the exact error code. Locking and unlocking became a nightmare. The radio signal was also terrible. I ended up chasing a potential FM antenna issue for weeks. Are you sure about the bumper antenna? Isn't that for the keyless entry system?
