Lexus UX Engine Stalling

Hey, I have a 2021 Lexus UX with a gasoline engine. The check engine light came on and the engine stalled at idle. I'm suspecting the tank ventilation valve. Anyone else had this?

Yep, had the same thing happen with my old 2014 Opel Astra. "Tank ventilation valve"... you mean the purge valve? Check for clogged hoses in your EVAP system; those can cause a vacuum leak, which can make the car stall. Might also want to check your gas cap to see if it's sealing properly.

Exactly, those ones. On my Astra, it was a cracked hose near the purge valve. Check the hoses and connections for cracks or wear. But honestly, with those symptoms, you are better off going to a workshop.

You were right! It was indeed the ventilation valve – or rather, the hoses connected to it. They were all clogged up. Repair cost me 175€. Thanks for the help!
