Lexus UX massage seat failure

I've got a 2023 Lexus UX electric with about 100k km on it. The massage function in the driver's seat suddenly stopped working. Can't switch it on at all. I scanned for errors and found something stored in the memory related to the seat. Anyone else experienced this?

Summary of the thread

A 2023 Lexus UX electric owner reported a failure in the driver's seat massage function, with no response or motor sound when attempting to activate it. An error code related to the seat was found, suggesting a potential connection issue. After checking the fuses and finding them intact, it was advised to inspect for loose connectors or a faulty switch. The problem was confirmed to be a defective connection, which was resolved at a workshop.

Did this summary help you solve your problem?

Interesting. I had a similar issue with my Volvo V90 a while back. The massage seat just died. Did you check the fuses related to the seat? Sometimes it's a simple fix. Also, can you hear any motor sounds when you try to activate the massage function, even if it's not actually working?

Thanks for the tip! I did check the fuses; they seem fine. As for the motor, no sound at all when I try to turn on the massage function. Completely silent. Any other ideas?

Okay, since the fuse is good and there's no motor sound, it points to a connection problem or a faulty switch. In my Volvo, the problem was a loose connector under the seat. Given that you have an error code stored, it's likely a similar issue or a defective switch. At this point, I would suggest taking it to a workshop. They can diagnose the problem more accurately. I took mine to the workshop and they told me it was a cable or plug connection of the component defective.

Appreciate the advice. Took it to the workshop, and you were spot on. Ended up being a defective connection, and the repair cost 95€. Thanks again for pointing me in the right direction!
